What is the name of this web element & is there a Textpattern plugin

Hello,

Does anyone know what is the name of this simple web element you see on most news sites like on http://www.nytimes.com/

I’m talking about the Most Popular “tab bar” you see on right

Is there a Textpattern plugin that does a similar job?

Been browsing websites built on Textpattern & the plugin archive for some time now but haven’t found one

(It’s incredibly hard to put your thoughts into words when you lack in proper terminology :))

You mean the sort of articles? Or are you meaning the tabs itself? The HTML markup and Javascript? You don’t need plugins for the markup, that is something that the site developer/designer does. Basically you just make CSS code that makes a tab like layout and then you do some JavaScript toggles to show hidden content.

Some tutorials and pointers:

Well, that is pretty much what I’m looking after. Now I just need to read those tutorials :)

Cheers.
