Hi Robert, It seems that for categories the category name is searchable rather than the category title.

Glad that’s established. But why? I have a category “generic design”, people aren’t going to be looking for “generic-design”? If it is not something you’ve overlooked, is there a way I can make the category title searchable instead by editing the plugin?

Because only the textpattern table is searched, and that table only contains the category names. But maybe smd_fuzzy_find can help you.

Aha. If it’s not possible to fetch the title from the txp_category table, I think it would be good to mention in the plugin doc that it doesn’t return a hit on the category title, since I don’t think that’s very obvious.
