Re: [Tutsandtipps] an Admin Theme for Texpattern 4.2.0

Nice work. Would it be possible to offer a zip package that starts at the Tutsandtipps directory instead of one level higher at the tutsandtipps_theme_adminTXP directory?

If you made that change to the zip package, the theme could be installed directly using the smd_admin_themes plugin. As it stands, the plugin (erroneously — must fix that) reports that it’s installed successfully, but it can’t actually do it because of the extra directory level. Thanks. You might also consider adding screenshot.jpg to it. The admin theme information page gives more details (e.g. appropriate screenshot sizes, etc).

You could also publish it on http://textgarden.org/. (now defunct)

Okay, the directory has been changed. How can i publish my Theme on Textgarden? i don´t find a “Submit a Theme” Link and I’ve already tried using the contact form with no success.

Brilliant, thanks. As an aside I’m trying to fix my plugin now so it reports correctly if the directory structure isn’t in the format it expects.

How can i publish my Theme on Textgarden?

I think you just use the contact form and wait for Stuart to get back to you. I’ve never done it myself so I’m not sure, but I think that’s how it works.

Thank you, Bloke!

I have written before about a week Stuart using the contact form, then I probably still waiting for his reaction.

I think that your website – Tuts & Tipps – Webdevelopers Magazine should deserve a place on We Love Textpattern or a post on the Let’s See Yours, Then section too.

We Love Txp can take a while Andreas and I’m sorry for not getting back to you but I haven’t seen an email or I’ve mistakenly spammed it. Leave it with me and I’ll get it sorted.
