[request] Admin navigation menu of articles and images
Hi,
By the time, I’m putting more and more articles and images on sites I manage, and sometimes it’s really hard to find the one you need.
I would like to have (for example) a sidebar with some menu (a tree menu) with list of sections in Articles page. This way it would list only articles for the section I choose.
If it can be managed for Categories also, it would be great.
The same principle should be applied to list of images on Images page.
I’ve made 2 images to describe it better. They can be seen here: Image 1 and Image 2
Is there any plugin or hack, mod, that can do this?

@pogonik, I like your idea for a plugin. You can achieve the same thing right now by changing how you search (select “Section” from the dropdown menu next to “Search”) and then search for your section titles like “articles” or “portfolio.” This works for Categories as well (and other options). This isn’t the same as what you’re describing — it’s not quite as simple — but it might be helpful in the meantime.

Tnx Ben. In the meantime I’ve discover lam_browse_by. You have to click (two) more times than in my “imagined plugin”, but it’s doing the same job, thought I think the sidebar would be more elegant.
