Re: Gaia, a blog template for Textpattern
Hi,
First, congratulation for this great template. Is simply awesome.
Second, I’m new in all this cms thing, and I need some help. When i go to “View Site” the Home and the About pages are ok, but when i go to Archive comes up this message in the top of page
“Tag error: <txp:article_custom limit=99999 section=“article” form=“archive_article” /> -> Textpattern Warning: Attribute values must be quoted on line 984”
any help will be usefull.
thanks
Ps. Thanks to jm, great post.

Re: Gaia, a blog template for Textpattern
Change limit=99999
to limit="99999"
. The template apparently hasn’t been kept up to date with the most recent Txp version. If you see any more tag errors, you can look up the correct tag and attribute usage in Textbook.

Re: Gaia, a blog template for Textpattern
Hi,
I don’t know if this is the best place to ask this, but i’ll do anyway.
I need to include a section that allows see several images at the same time, like sample of works or something, and that those images are in the same hosting of the site (not in a Flickr or something).
Anything will help.
Greetings.

Re: Gaia, a blog template for Textpattern
Hi barabet, because this is not a specific question about the Gaia template, you’d better open a new topic in the How do I… forum. A lot more people will notice it there ;)

Re: Gaia, a blog template for Textpattern
great theme! I come across a problem here, is the section Archive should have all my articles written before?
I just got Browse by categories working, Archive by date shows nothing. Any advice to this question?Offline

Re: Gaia, a blog template for Textpattern
Please, am in urgent need of answers on the Gaia Template. I am new to textpattern and I am excited finding my way through. I am installing the Gaia Template and have encountered some problems.
1. After going through the installation process, my site shows this error ; Tag error: <txp:sitename /> -> Textpattern Notice: tag is deprecated on line 1177 on the home page
2. Tag error: <txp:sitename /> -> Textpattern Notice: tag is deprecated on line 1177 on the About page(same as the home page)
3. Tag error: <txp:sitename /> -> Textpattern Notice: tag is deprecated on line 1177
Tag error: <txp:article_custom limit=99999 section=“article” form=“archive_article” /> -> Textpattern Warning: Attribute values must be quoted on line 1035 on the archive page
On the archive page; Browse by categories and archive by date are not functional
Lastly, Gaia’s lovely background isn’t appearing on my site.
Please can someone help me, I am behind schedule

Re: Gaia, a blog template for Textpattern
I haven’t tried this template but replace <txp:sitename />
with <txp:site_name />
in the header form and change limit=99999
to limit="99999"
in the archive page.
I’m going to try it in a week or so and see what more needs to be updated/modified.

Re: Gaia, a blog template for Textpattern
I hope someone can help me with a problem I have encountered with the gaia template. I want to maximise the space on the left of the theme. I want to insert a slideshow and pictures into this space. Can this be made possible by placing addition codes in its css or can it be done using textpattern tags?Has anyone done this before?
