Hi yegga,

I cannot see a reason why you could not install a wiki as a sub-domain or anywhere in a site where txp resides.

the only limitation I can think of would be the urls. You will have to take care so as not have any urls pointing to more than one pages

Re: installing a wiki on textpattern

Integarting is another matter. The answer to this question is No. Textpattern.com has a wiki installed at textbook.textpattern.net/wiki/ and demonstrates the possibility of having both applications. I guess it depends what you want to do. Is a wiki really what you need or is it a member controlled CMS?

Re: installing a wiki on textpattern

hmm, colak, to answer your question, i need members to be able to edit any article, to add articles, to view previous version, to talk about articles, etc.

i assumed that a wiki fits all these criteria, but i see i might be wrong. can this be done in any other way?

hi yegga,

the only thing which can not be done on txp is versioning of articles (unless there is a plugin which escaped me)

Re: installing a wiki on textpattern

thakns colak.

so here is a question then.

under what circumstances does a wiki trump a member controlled CMS? and vice versa?
