Cookies or URL variables

Hi,

I need to add PREV – NEXT style buttons to an Article List page.

I need to pass Limit and Offset values somehow.

Is it better to use a cookie or send POST/GET info with the URL?

I’m already using a cookie so visitors can change the default ‘Limit’ on how many articles per page.

Any ideas or suggestions would be fantastic.
