Open link in new window - how to make the absolute URL

I’m trying to use the wet_link plugin to create links to sites outside my textpattern blog.

Here’s what I do:

<txp:wet_link href=“http://www.amazon.com/” target=“blank”>this</txp:wet_link>

Here’s what I get back:

Tag error: <txp:wet_link href=“http://www.amazon.com/” target=“blank”> -> Warning: sprintf() [function.sprintf]: Too few arguments on line 60

I suspect I’m writing the absolute url incorrectly. How can I fix this?

In advance, thanks!

Questions about plugins are better posted in the plugin thread.

But er… why don’t you just use the html <a> tag?

Re: Open link in new window - how to make the absolute URL

Thanks for the quick reply. I currently am using the <a> tag and it’s working correctly. However, I would like my web development clients to be able to add links without knowing how to code html (though figuring out textile isn’t any less confusing, imho).

Sorry if I misplaced the post. I wasn’t aware there were threads for particular plugins. Should I repost in the thread or would that be redundant.

That makes sense.

Please do, the plugin author or users who are familiar with the plugin are more likely to notice your question there. I don’t know the plugin so I can’t help you with it, sorry.
