Very slow

Hi,

I just installed tp. (i have the textpattern book allready for 2 years on my bookshelf!!) Everything works well but I have noticed one thing: Clicking on a article (title) on the main page, it takes 5 or 6 seconds before loading the single article page. Navigation works allright and quick but showing a full article not. I use the default template and only one small article in the database.
Someone can help with this??

Hi Steven,

try to remove the sbl.spamhaus.org entry in Preferences > Advanced > Publish > Spam blacklists (comma-separated).

There are plugins available that prevent spam much more efficiently than using a blacklist which was never intended for this purpose.

Hey, Trenc – thanks for the tip: my site is pretty quick anyway, but your suggestion has definitely made it a bit snappier.
