[beginner] Only first comment moderation.

Hello,

I’m totally new for textpattern and CMS/blog systems. I have a question about moderating comments. As I understand in basic textpattern installation I could activate moderation and every single comment will be waiting for approval in moderation queue or I can disabled it completely. But what if I want to moderate only first user’s comment (his email is not in database) and those comments with link(s) in them and maybe users added to my watchlist for one reason or another and the rest should be automatically displayed. Is there any plugin for that? I couldn’t find anything.

Second thing. I added staff writer user to my site because I want someone who can write articles but don’t have access to all presentation tabs. But staff writer can not moderate comments for his articles. I used bot_privs and changed that and now staff writer can see comments tab. But maybe there is a better way to solve this.

English isn’t my native language but I hope is good enough. :-)
Best regards :-)

Re: [beginner] Only first comment moderation.

I found mrw_spamkeywords_urlcount plugin and solved problem with moderating urls in comments.

I still don’t know how to add comment to moderation queue if:

  • user email isn’t in db
  • user is on my list to moderate (I don’t want to ban whole IP. I just want to moderate comments for specific user who for example starts trolling)

Any clues?
