Status options bug when checking the "View" link
I noticed a strange behavior in different installations. When I write an article and save it as a “draft”, and then click on “View” link to preview it in context and then press the browser “back” button, the draft option is automatically changed to “pending”. This is hardly noticed and can cause trouble in site editors/writers.
The “status” behavior is flawn also with the other options. When the article is saved “visible”, clicking “View” and turning back set the options to… nothing!
When status is “hidden”, it becomes “visible”.
When status is “Pending” it changes to “sticky”.
When “Sticky”, it reverts to.. nothing again.
It’s me and my bunch of admin-side plugins or is this a replicable behavior?

Re: Status options bug when checking the "View" link
There shouldn’t be a bug on TXP’s side. It flawlessly marks checked the status that’s selected, therefor if I go back or refresh the page, it keeps the same status checked. Most likely it’s either a plugin or your browser doing oddies.
- If you look at source code, which radio button is
checked="checked"
before pressing preview? - … and after going back?
- High diagnotics.
PS. It’s better to open the preview into a new tab, either than going back and fort. Not that I don’t trust browser’s caching, but I don’t when it comes to forms.

I can`t reproduce this either with the current download or an SVN copy with or without plugins.

Re: Status options bug when checking the "View" link
Thank you Gocom and Rick. After you check, I tried disabling all my admin plugins, one-by-one, and have come to the following results:
- If I disable one out of wet_quickopen or smd_article_stats, then the behavior change: the status option still get changed, but in a different pattern than my previous post
- If I disable both wet_quickopen and smd_article_stats, the problem disappear. :)
Before jumping in those plugin’s threads, I ask if some of you or other can confirm that, or, say, it’s also a browser issue (using FF 3 on Mac), or some other plugins interactions.
@Gocom: Yes, I also open the view link in a new tab, expecially after this problem… But wanted to go deep into this problem, as sometimes you forget about it and it suddenly happens again and it’s annoying.
