Re: Cannot Log in to my admin panel

Hi Luke, Long time no see:)

It could be a database corruption. If you connect via phpMyAdmin you might be able to fix it. Just select all tables and chose the repair option.

Re: Cannot Log in to my admin panel

Thanks colak. Stopping in I notice that we now have a Textpattern 4.2.0. I will have to do some experimenting and maybe upgrade from my current Textpattern · 4.0.7.

Alright. Onto results.

I had my host run a repair. When I ran a repair it had no effect (?), but theirs seemed to do the trick. So, all is well.

Somewhere along the way I ran into this tool for doing back-ups: http://www.mysqldumper.net/ – and yes, I know that there is a textpattern plug-in (a nice one, too), and this little tool helps me because it also does necessary repairs if the site is down.

Enough. The problem has been solved, and I have found a new version of Textpattern to experiment with. It’s really a good day.

And thanks.
