[Solved] Files tab – tag builder fails to create file link
Txp 4.0.8
I’m in the Files tab and have successfully uploaded a zip archive that I now want to link to.
When I use the tag builder with any of the options, Textile, Textpattern, XHTML, I get the following error message after clicking Buid Tag:
Precondition Failed
The precondition on the request for the URL /textpattern/index.php evaluated to false.
What could be the problem?

No one got any ideas?
It does work on another site at the same hosting account, also 4.0.8.

Martin, does it happen with other files too or just this one? If it’s just this particular file, could it be that the file name or description contains a word or symbol that your server doesn’t accept? See this FAQ.

Els, you’re a darling!
It must be something in the file name, although I have no idea why.
The original archive was named Heason-pictures.zip. I renamed my local copy to Archive.zip, uploaded it again as a new file and now the tag builder works just fine.
There’s nothing unusual or offensive in the original file name, or is there??

Well, googling ‘heason’ doesn’t return anything suspicious, so your server must be sensitive about pictures… ;)

I removed the hyphen and HeasonPictures.zip works fine for the tag builder, too – weird.
The host is Textdrive.
