Remove 'auto append comments' from preferences
I’d rather see the entire auto_append stuff removed from preferences. It’s the cause of a lot of confusion.

I managed to get confused myself while coding up a new site template recently. I was reusing the same comments construct as used on another site and got 2 comments forms. Until it hits me to check the preferences…

Re: Remove 'auto append comments' from preferences
Functionally, I don’t use the auto-append comments, and would be okay with it removed. But, for someone new, who may want and need a lot of functionality out of the box, but not know much about Txp, it makes things really easy. So I suggest that it be left but with the auto-append by “off” by default.
