Required fields in comment form - can some be turned off?
I am in the process of creating a tabula gratulatoria for a website where I would like to use TXP’s native commenting system to handle congratulations/comments. The problem is that all the fields in the comment form are required by default. My question is: is there a way to make the message part not required? (I know this sounds absolutely stupid, but this is a very special case…)
Thanks for any idea or solution in advance!

Maybe make that field hidden and pass some lorem ipsum as a value that you won’t display in your end result. I’d start with that logic anyway. Maybe there _are_plugins or a built in way to solve this though.

The email field is not required if the option is chosen in the preferences. You could also check mem_simple_form though as it allows you to build your own forms.
