Does Jquery come with the textpattern instalation

Yep, textpattern/jquery.js.
Perhaps an older one would do it for you, 1.2.6? Though, I don’t know whether redbot’s, gerhard’s or netcarver’s plugins require jQ 1.3.2.

In bad weather I never leave home without wet_plugout, smd_where_used and adi_form_links

I think the problem has not to do with the jquery version, given that both plugin work after you reload the page (hitting “write” again) so I tend to think it must be some kind of caching problem.
I suppose if you test these sites in your local environment they’ll work well.
Have you tried to visit them using another browser or with another computer? Does the problem persist?

Re: TXP CSS loading problem?

Plenty, but I de-activated all of them to see if that was the problem, and itis not….

ajw_comment_alt
ajw_if_comment_owner
bot_privs redbot
lam_browse_by
lam_dynamic_image
lam_image_uploader
mem_postmaster
mem_postmaster_library
rah_comment_spam
rah_textile_bar
sed_plugin_library
sed_section_fields
smd_admin_themes
smd_gallery
smd_lib
tru_tags
zem_contact_lang
zem_ir

Is there a way to force Jquery to load before anything else?
I can even give access to one of the txp sites if someone thinks they can help.

Re: TXP CSS loading problem?

Having the EXACT same problem, with the exact same plugins, specifically the datePicker icon / link with glz_custom_fields and the tool tips from bot_admin_tooltips don’t usually load up correctly the first time around with a new computer / browser. Running 4.2 as well.

I also had trouble with glz_custom_fields radio / checkbox display rendering when I had them in the left-hand column (also fixed with reloading the page), but strangely, switching columns 1 and 2 with bot_write_tab_customize resolves this issue.

All you have to do to fix the problems is reload the “write” tab. Frustrating, this is one of the only things holding back my back-end for end-users of a new site I’m managing. Any further guidance is much appreciated.

I would like to help but – as I said before – I can’t reproduce it and I really have no idea what can be the cause.
