TXP 4.2 and IE7: Remora Theme has buggy drop down menu
In IE7, the drop down menu for the Remora theme acts buggy where the drop down is to the side of the main section (see below) than dropping straight below the section. And then when I try to mouse over the various nav links, it will dissapear and present the next section (Presentation) and its navlinks. So basically, I can’t click to the appropriate navigation. Every now and then I will be able to click to the appropriate nav, but rarely the case.
Anyway to remedy this?

dreamer, I saw your other posts about some issues were related to hak_tinyMCE. Have you tested whether this one here is influenced by hak_tm, too? In case you have lots of plugins to test against there’s this awesome wet_plugout.

It’s a confirmed bug in jQuery, see Textpattern Issue 12

Ah, Tommy, you’re not talking to your invisible friend ;)
I just changed my mind and wanted to open a new thread.
Thanks for your answer!

Either:
- Update jQuery (hover does not work when mouse outing over textarea).
- Or, cause IE7 supports all-element hover, you can remove the JavaScript snippet from the theme and use plain CSS hover.
- Replace theme’s Jquery snippet’s hover() efects with mouseover() and mouseout() toggle.
