Comments before and after publish time

For a site I use the publish date as the actual date for an event. People can comment the event before it takes place (hopes, expectations,…) and 6 weeks after it actually happened. I’d like to style those comments differently. How do I check the comment date with the article date and give the comment another css style?

Re: Comments before and after publish time

Hi,

install smd_if and then use it to compare txp:comment_time format="%Y%m%d" and txp:posted format="%Y%m%d".

I didn’t comprehend the exact requirements but perhaps you’re able to bend some of the code of Nora’s article to your needs.

edit: ah maniqui came up with a solution while I was searching for the link.

Re: Comments before and after publish time

Thanks. I didn’t realize it would have been that easy.
