Is there anything under the preferences tab?
I click on preferences and I get a blank page with a “save” button. (just that)
using 4.0.2 and tru_tags

@mlarino, 4.0.2 is not supported and is severely out of date. You should update to at least 4.0.7.

I know that 4.2 is not supported either but there is nothing on 4.2 either:(

I am using 4.0.8 and I have the same thing – nothing under preferences.

I can confirm that there are no problems with postmaster and 4.2. I’m running it several places. Maybe tru_tags is the culprit…

This site I was referring to includes the following active plugins with 4.2 (3277). You could try turning off all your plugins and see if it works. then use a process of elimination to see if something conflicts.

yep i used to do this on mac os<x
I guess i’ll have to experiment and send the results both here and the culprit’s thread.

the preferences are still not visible, even without any extra plugins active

The problem was introduced by the fixes to prevent the other plugins from generating errors. I renamed the redeclared text_input function to bab_pm_text_input and then provided a mapping in bab_pm_pref_func. The problem was that the pref tab code seems to have started as a copy&paste from include/txp_prefs.php and included many lines of code that had no meaning to postmaster. The reason there was no output was due to a function named “text_input” not being defined during a useless check found in the copy & pasted code.

Hi Michael, This is much appreciated but the latest version returns
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mem_pm_createTables() in /path/to/site/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php(594) : eval()'d code on line 123 It also prohibits viewing any of the postmaster tabs
