Have you updated
txplib_db.php
to the version which comes with MLP?
I was using 0.9.12 with the patch, I just replaced it with the unpatched version and it works fine now.
thanks for the help.

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack
Does 4.2.0 works with current MLP such good, as it was in 4.0.8? :)

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack
Does this plugin still require a hack? I thought the devs were offering to change the core to make it MLP compatible?

I released a trial version for 4.20 last night. Initial reports are good, please let me know how you get on. Ta

Yes a hack is still required. It’s only changes to one core file (txplib_db.php
). Can you point me to the devs’ offer again?

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack
I had to use Google to find this post by wet ;-) Its difficult to find very much in this forum.
Not sure, but I think the original offer was by Ruud (or it could have been wet). Either way, MLP is a big turn off if one has to hack the core, even if its only one file…

Jonathan might have this post in mind? (Edit: I see you had ;) )
So far I haven’t encountered any problems using MLP 0.9.13-gp and Txp 4.2.0 :) Thank you, Graeme!

There is another post but I can’t find it, nor do I want to try – punBB search hurts!

Jonathan, it’s just a matter of replacing one Txp file and adding a few others. I’ve done so many upgrades by now, and it really isn’t a big deal…

Re: MLP - The Multi-Lingual Publishing Pack
Thanks Els, I will check it out again once MLP is 4.2 compatible. If there is only one file to be changed, surely the code should be added to core? Can’t be a big deal surely?

Well, doing an author search for ‘MLP’ for both ruud or wet doesn’t return anything…

Forgot to add: and even if it was, the plugin is worth the trouble!

I haven’t found anything yet that indicates it isn’t :)

Ruud explained to me once that in order to make MLP into a proper plugin it would require substantial changes in the Txp core :(
