[request] User Batch Managment

I am looking for a plugin that allows one to batch change passwords/user groups a number of selected users. Alternativly, a plugin that allows the admin to even change any password for just a single user. (Currently, the user can only do this himself—the admin can only send him a (hidden) updated password by mail.)

I know that it is not generally something that most people want to do, however, in my case I need to manage a couple hundred users that cannot access the txp backend themselves. (They just get to access a ‘special’ part of the site that is protected with ign_password_protect. Usernames are different for exclusivity, passwords can just be the same for simplicity.)

Re: [request] User Batch Managment

Also, if you just want to offer users a possibility to change the password to something of their preference:

<txp:ign_self_edit> Displays a form to registered users to allow them to reset their password. Does not display anything if user is not logged in.

It’s possible to have users reset their password on the backend as well (http://domain.ext/textpattern/?reset=1) and not be able to log into the backend if they’ve been given the ‘no priviledges’ . But seeing the backend login could be a confusing experience I think…
