article_image question

Is there any way (ie. through a tag) to output the full path/URL to a given article image and not just the article? What I’m trying to accomplish is using Textpattern for a photoblog (which you can see the developing version here: http://caspian.mine.nu/~john/dev/photos/) and want to make it so you can click on a link to view the full image using Slimbox. This is turning out to be trickier than I thought so any advice would be helpful.

Re: article_image question

John, there is a lot of info on the smd_slimbox plugin thread, you might want to search for that. Otherwise, there are some good tutorials on galleries on TXP Tips.

Re: article_image question

Use an article tag that uses a form called gallery_listing. In this form access the url with upm_image. Tends to work. You could also just type your description into the image description and the title into the image name fields and completely get rid of articles. In this case you can select image categories for display with the wet_for_each_image plugin. (Saves one step for the final user.)

Re: article_image question

I use upm_image as well, which has a tag for the full image url and the thumbnail url. I use this along with this jquery lightbox plugin: http://leandrovieira.com/projects/jquery/lightbox/
