Does   in anchor text affect SEO?

I’ve noticed that Textpattern by default automatically inserts   into article titles to keep words grouped together. Does anyone know if this affects SEO? I’m curious if Google treats “toy boat” and “toy boat” as the same phrase when they show up in anchor text.

Thanks,
Jason

I don’t know how it affects SEO but it can be turned off in the advanced prefs at “Prevent widowed words in article titles?”

Definitely, it’s kind of a nice feature though. I’d like to keep it turned on, I’m just curious as to whether or not it can hurt your pagerank.
