Offer email address, but protect it from spam?
On a (mostly) static page, I want to offer visitors the option to inquire by emailing name@domain.com. What are the latest good ways to protect that email address from getting spammed relentlessly? Is it better to say, “For more info, contact us,” and make “contact us” a link? Or, is there some javascript (light and lean) that can protect an email address?
Thanks.

I use zem_contact_reborn for this type of thing but I think <txp:email/> is supposed to do what you want. I’ve read it has antispam features.

use the zem_contact plugin for better spam protection. instead of an mailto: link you will get semi-protected form input instead.
txp:email gives you slight protection by obfuscating your email address, but zem_contact is better.

zem_contact plugin works just great in offering spam protection!
