Tks for your answer. And sorry for my question : obviously, it was stupid. PHP is a server side language for the current server where scripts run.

v3.2 is posted and adds some extra error logging when not in live mode. This does present an interesting problem since the write tab does not ping when not in live mode. You’ll need to comment out lines 1171-1172 in include/txp_article.php to troubleshoot.

Does not ping Twitter for me using 4.2.0rc1 – neither the v3.2 nor the previous one. Works fine on 4.08. Any ideas..?!

I did that before posting here, but saw nothing untoward, and the two latest TXP Tips have not been sent to Twitter. Commenting out the two lines did fix the other problem I saw with RSS/Feedburner feeds – a recognised bug

I’ve had sporadic outages with this plugin, even before the 4.2.0rc1 update, but it is now working on my site jQuery Style and I didn’t even comment out those lines. At least my latest two posts worked fine… just FYI

This plugin is also dependent upon twitter not having network issues. There are many instances where twitter is barely online due to various reasons that would prevent pings from happening.

When i uninstal the plugin, the entry “mem_twitter” at the advanced preferences already exist. How can i delete this too?

Hi I can’t get this plugin to work.
Done all the checks.

plugin 1.3.2
curl – yes
fopen – on
custom_1 changed to twitter
twitter user info – double, triple & +++ checked
It did work when I first installed but stopped working on 23 December 2008.
Can’t remember anything significant happening …
Hasn’t worked since – twitter appears in the custom field but no tweet.
Suddenly its urgent I fix this. No idea why. It’s time has come lol

It was working for me on August 19th but I’ve since disabled it. I was using plugin version 0.2 though.

Hi I’ve uninstalled.
Got txp:twitter to work by adding this line as suggested in the comments
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_HTTPHEADER, array(‘Expect:’));
I got an error, but changed apostrophes to …
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_HTTPHEADER, array(“Expect:”));
… and it works.
