Best solution for sidebar

Hi Guys,
I need to set up pages for Euro Cleaning Technologies so that the client can add article specific content for the sidebar.
I thought to use the excerpt field for that but it seems a dirty solution.
Any tips?

Thank you all.

any feedback on the website design itself is, of course, welcome. :)

Re: Best solution for sidebar

hi Giuseppe,

Did you consider using custom_fields?

[off topic] The site looks very clean on ff:)

Re: Best solution for sidebar

Hi Yiannis,
yes, considered, but they are just a one row text field, I need a textarea since they want to add images, text, and so on.
(btw, which plugin to let them pick images without to copy their code in the images pane?)

Thanks a lot, I am happy you like it. :)

[really off topic]
It would be great If in next versions I could be able to create custom fields per section like in EE! :D

Re: Best solution for sidebar

If you use a number of custom fields, you’d be able to allocate one for images too. Or you can use article_image. If what they want is something more maybe the excerpt but they should also know that the excerpt is syndicated.

Would sed_section_fields do what you need?
