Server Problem w3wp.exe

Hello, We have a w3wp.exe that uses 99% CPU for a lot of time. I have use Dot net back end is MYSQL. How can I find what asp script causes this? I make a user dump through debug diag, but it doesn’t help me, because there wasn’t any reference to the asp script that launches the threads.

Thanks in advance for your help. Regards, Gilbertsavier

Re: Server Problem w3wp.exe

Sorry,

but you use a proprietary and closed source tool and OS. I doubt anybody is willing to spend free time to do a support job for a company, MS in this case. And, as Yiannis said, this is a textpattern user forum.

But I will give you some hints:

  1. KB 883925
  2. Use a IIS-Support Forum
  3. Ask your hoster
  4. Ask your asp developer
  5. Ask MS for support
  6. Use a Windows Debugger
  7. Use another OS and/or Webserver
