Is there a keyword limit in textpattern?

I am using tagging features in my website and so I use the keywords field, recently though, it seems my keywords get cut off now =/ and don’t save with the article, perhaps there are too many keywords. Is there a character limit for keywords and if so can I remove it somehow? It just doesn’t save after a specific amount of keywords =/

Is. The data is stored in a varchar field in the db. Because of backwards compatibility the limit is set to 255 chars.

  • If you have MySQL version 5.0.3 or above, you can increase the field lenght. Max. limit is 65,535.
  • If you have MySQL version below 5.0.3, you have to change the field type, because 255 is the max. limit. You could for example change it to medium text.

You can find it inside textpattern -table with name of keywords.
