The timezone in the prefs was blank. I set in to “London” and turned auto_dst to on.

Events that were in my “what’s on today” list have disappeared and moved to yesterday.

Previously the timezone was set to GMT 0

Also setting the “Default admin tab” under the advanced options isn’t working for custom tabs made by plugins.

That might be (read: is 99.9% likely) a problem with the current smd_calendar. I’ve had to kludge the dates to get round the timezone stuff. Wet has awesomely coded all that out into a nice package inside TXP now, so the time warping code can be removed from smd_calendar in the run up to TXP 4.2.0.

It’ll take me a while to refactor the code, as I also have a whole load more things to fix/implement, so give me a bit of time to sort it out. In the meantime, I’ll put you on the list to receive betas.

This is expected behaviour for the very first login after an upgrade. Every further move in the admin side must not throw any error message.

Also setting the “Default admin tab” under the advanced options isn’t working for custom tabs made by plugins.

They should be visible, and all plugins I’ve tested so far do so. Which plugin fails to show up?

It’s very strange because it seems to work at first. I had it set to a custom plugin i’m building. then i removed this line from my custom plugin….

register_tab("content", 'dashboard', 'Dashboard');

Since then it just defaulted to the writetab. Now i can only set it to Textpatterns default tabs. It ignores adi_variables, hak_tinymce, jbx_multiple_image_upload, rah_external_output and rah_sitemap. Even if i disable my custom plugin.

adi_variables plugin is broken btw.

Tried with rah_sitemap and jbx_multiple_image_upload just now. Works for me.

Without a tab, your plugin won’t be selectable!

No idea about the other plugins, perhaps report them on their respective threads with some diagnosis output to back up your findings? It might be the priv levels or the way the tab is created in the plugin, though on first glance they all seem ok.

I support only stable TXP releases. The plugins should work tho.
