Error Functions

I’m upgrading my server and Textpattern version and running into the following diagnostic warning.

I’m running Textpattern 4.0.6 and upgrading them to PHP5.

The following PHP functions (which may be necessary to run Textpattern) are disabled on your server: leak, posix_getpwuid, posix_getpwnam, posix_getgrid, posix_getgrnam, posix_getgroups

Are these functions outdated on PHP5 or should I have my hosting company enable them?

The keyword is “may”. TXP doesn’t use any of those functions.
BTW. Please consider upgrading to TXP 4.0.8

Thank you. We would like to upgrade and will for future clients, but there are a few plug-ins we use regularly that have not been updated. RSS auto excerpt, for one.
