link from individual article to its page?
Hello,
Is it possible to link from an individual article to the front-page on which it resides? Or even the front-page before or after that?
Thanks.

Hi hicks
If you are talking about breadcrumbs there is a tag. I’m not sure what you mean with Or even the front-page before or after that.

Re: link from individual article to its page?
Say, for example, someone links from a Facebook post to an individual article on your site, an article which is currently appearing on home page#4. Can you have a link on the article to go back to page 4? Or to page 3 or 5?
To explain, I have only one article on each home page, and would like my individual articles’ newer/older links to go to the next or previous page on the home page, if not the page on which it appears (as e.g., page 4), rather than the next/previous individual article.

It seems that txp:variable
might help here but do you use a plugin for the paging? If so which one?

No plugin. Perhaps I should look at plugins?

no need of plugins if the site functions fine. Apologies hicks but I am trying to get the whole picture. For example i’m not certain about some of the terms you use, such as “home page”. Do you have a link we can check? Are home pages categories, sections?
