Site completely visible in firefox and safari but not in IE6

The only thing visible is the backgroundimage of the body element.
The site in question http://www.deopenplek.nl

As mentioned everything ok in FF and safari on Mac and also completely visible in FF on Windows machine. Can’t work it out, somebody please help. Is it the .htaccess file?

Re: Site completely visible in firefox and safari but not in IE6

I’m taking a guess, but I think that ie is not liking all the empty strong tags (498)

ie7 final Doesn’t show anything either by the way.

[edit] The site looks great in FF though!

It’s definitely not the .htaccess file. It very likely is the rediculously large amount of nested strong tags. Did you do this up in something like Dreamweaver by any chance?

Re: Site completely visible in firefox and safari but not in IE6

Thanx Soulship, I haven’t put the strong tags in there myself, I saw it too while watching the source of the page. Can Textile be the “evil-do-er”? Site is also completely visible in Camino.

The following pages don’t incorporate strong tags and don’t show either in IE:

http://www.deopenplek.nl/index.php?s=Contact
http://www.deopenplek.nl/index.php?s=Visie etc.

Re: Site completely visible in firefox and safari but not in IE6

You’re missing a closing script tag (<script></script>, not <script />). The multitude of strong tags might be from using the search_results form, if that’s what you’re using.

Man ;). No problem! You can thank Opera’s source code viewer for that (highlighted your whole page as red – the color for <script>)!

Not bad as i see it now, though the red-green thing on the right breaks the color scheme a bit..
