My goodness Yiannis. It brought everything back to normal with your Edit 2: my inability to put the </txp:if_section> tag. I’m down to the site name issue.

Yes, you are missing a space, and the > is missing from the <a> tag. Try this:

<h1><a href="<txp:site_url />" title="<txp:site_name />"><txp:site_name /></a></h1>
