resizing and batch replacing a bunch of images in textpattern

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for this.

I need to resize about….50 images, maybe more and replace them in textpattern. Doing it through the images tab is a real big pain. Is there a decent plugin or way to batch replace a bunch of images? without having to go through the whole upload, re-thumbnail, etc process for each one?

thanks

Nadine.

i was using that. it seems like a good plug in but it gives me a big error when i try and restore things, and doesn’t actually make a backup of the image to the backups folder. not sure why yet.

If all the images are exactly the same dimensions, you could just replace all the numbered files then do a sql query to batch change the dimensions on that range of image rows.

I’ve done this a few times.
