sending decent html emails/newsletters

I’m seriously stumped on this.

I’ve been messing with Postermaster and sde_newsletter… it’s like, if both could be combined into one magical plugin, it’d be exactly what I want.

Postmaster lacks the option to send emails as anything other than the admin email. I’d rather it say my name, than my email address. It’s also not really good at sending HTML emails… at all.

sde_newsletter sends everything perfectly. The “from” is exactly how I want it.. the email has all the html elements…. but it can only send to one person at a time. And doesn’t maintain a subscriber list.

Is there some sort of happy medium with all of this?

it’s driving me crazy.

I don’t know if there is a fix for the email address instead of your name problem. I’ve used Postmaster successfully to send html emails, what kind of problems are you having with that?
