Can Text Pattern...

I’ve read a lot of demo sites you using TP to power mostly blogs. I need a CMS that can power a small community website. The website has 4 main pages, each of those main pages needs it’s own dynamic menu that the client can update themselves. Each of those links on the dynamic menu may also have their own sub menu (so a sub-submenu?).

Is TextPattern capable of doing this in a easy to follow manner? The clients are very web illiterate and I worry that if actions in the CMS aren’t labeled MAINMENU OPTIONS and SUBMENU OPTIONS etc and the like they will get very confused.

Thanks for reading :)

Not the case as there are many sites which use txp as a cms.

Manfre’s plugins can help you. Especially mem_self_register

If you are talking about the front and not the back end it is possible but you’ll need to manipulate the txp tags.

This will be the hard one as it will be up to you to educate them. But this is the case with any cms system you may opt to use.

Re: Can Text Pattern...

I’m still unsure of what I’m going to do for the sub-sub-menu navigation, but we’ll see.

Perhaps there are plugins that might help. Here’s a start and another
