"Textpattern Solutions: PHP-Based Content Management Made Easy"
Hi,
I would like to begin to develop my clients’ websites with Textpattern.
But I need to study it and to be up and running in few time. So I thought to get “Textpattern Solutions: PHP-Based Content Management Made Easy” book.
Now, we all know, 2 years are a long time in our job, that’s why I would like to ask you: is it still a valid book (I apologize with the authors, I am sure it is, I actually mean “valid like in updated”)?
Thank you all a lot for all the resources I found out there and a great thanks to “Sam” that got the time to reply me about Txp.

It’s still relevant, but see this post on the new tag parser. Also, keep in mind that some of the plugins mentioned in it have been abandoned (namely rss_* and tcm_rate).
Edit: Be sure to bookmark and read the TextBook content (esp. the tag index and tutorials to get a better feel for TXP).

i understand that the program is constantly changing, but i think the book is a really good reference on many topics. i especially like to see how they deal with different types of sites. but all in all i find myself turning to textbook tag reference most of all.
jm: i guess i need to be more patient, but i didnt really understand what that article is about
