Trouble with installing textpattern

Hi there, total noob here.

I fill in all the mysql login info and I get this:

Checking database connection…

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Can’t connect to local MySQL server through socket ‘/tmp/mysql.sock’ (2) in /data/clients/nic/klaxon.sk/www/test/textpattern/setup/index.php on line 178

Can’t connect to database

I thought this page should load:

Any idea what am I doing wrong?

I guess your MySQL-*Server* is not running.

it actually is running
maybe i should change a setting in there or something?
this is my first encounter with MySql
