arc_popular_category_cloud
Plugin for producing weighted lists of popular article categories that can be styled using CSS to take on the appearance of a category cloud. It’s based on the work of Mirko Jost. The categories output can be restricted by the number of associated articles, or by setting a limit on the number of months to search within from the current date. Only categories containing articles are listed.

arc_popular_category_cloud has been updated to take into account the new expiration date feature of Textpattern 4.0.7. A new option to turn off the weighting of the categories has also been added.

Hi Andy, looks like a nice plugin. What is the major difference between your plugin and tru_tags?

This plugin is for those using Textpattern’s article categories rather than the keywords tru_tags uses. It was developed for a news based site that needed a category cloud that represented recent posts only.
