external rss feeds as posts
basically i have two sites.
one is textpattern, one is word press.
the wordpress blog is the “home” site. i’d like to automatically take posts from the wp site and put them on the textpattern site.
is there a way to parse the rss feed… and, i don’t know, have it show up as posts on the txp site?
i’m a little confused.

looks like the simplepie plugin was the way to go…
although i wish i could integrate the posts, rather than have the feed “on top” of the native blog..

Another possible option: I’ve used Yahoo Pipes before to interleave two separate feeds into one. You can then display the resulting feed with simpliepie where you need it with simplepie and co. If you’re not familiar with Yahoo Pipes take a look at the intro video or one of the samples. It’s not as difficult as it looks at first glance.
