Re: [ARCHIVED] Postmaster (0.4.4) -A simple newsletter manager

Hi Colak,
Thanks for the reply. I have just tried deleting my browsing history in IE7, but to no avail.

Cheers

Hi ross, deleting your history does not delete your cache. Try deleting the cache and then revisit the postmaster url. Also, try to add an address, empty the cache and then search for it…

Re: [ARCHIVED] Postmaster (0.4.4) -A simple newsletter manager

Hi Colak, When i refer to ‘Browsing History’ in IE7, this includes Temp Internet files, cookies, form data, history and passwords. Is this not deleting the cache? I checked the temp Internet files and this was empty when i deleted the ‘Browsing History’.
I have also tried my other pc, which has never been used for editing the site before, so I would assume rule this out.
Any other ideas?

Cheers
Ross

Ok, As no one has had any suggestions, I decided to delete postmaster plugins and reinstall them, this has not helped. I have also tried a different pc & browers, just incase.

I haven’t used Postmaster but here’s a long shot: set your website production status to debugging (to enable the display of errors/warning) & see if anything illuminating pops out.

Re: [ARCHIVED] Postmaster (0.4.4) -A simple newsletter manager

Hi guys, Another thought, anyone got an old version of Postmaster that I can try. I used to have the old one before my PC died. I cannot seem to find any old versions on the web, anyone know where i can get one?

Thanks

b3buggy, is there any chance for you to test on a clean Textpattern install? Just to check if it Postmaster + Textpattern is working on your server and to check if it’s your current TXP installation, for some reason (a plug-in, or some file you may have modified), that is making PM not to work properly.

Re: [ARCHIVED] Postmaster (0.4.4) -A simple newsletter manager

Hi Maniqui, Unfortunatley I dont have access to the server, and I dont currently have any space to check a clean install.
Postmaster is still working, i send out emails one or twice a week, but i cannot add any subscribers.

Re: [ARCHIVED] Postmaster (0.4.4) -A simple newsletter manager

Hi Guys, All working now. I had to change some class field’s (shown as XXXX below) in the plugin.
It was pointed towards a scrap (But Live) section i use for checking articles, changed it to live section and it worked :-?

“// add a subscriber

echo ‘<fieldset id=“bab_pm_edit”><legend><span class=“bab_pm_underhed”><a href=”#” class=“show”>Add a Subscriber</a></span></legend><br /><div class=“XXXX”>’;”

civillian401> Yeah, each list has an administrator, set in the lists tab. That’s where from get’s set.
