Making an article list and navigating between pages of older lists
Hello there everyone, I’m just starting off with TXP. I have built a few sites learning a bit more about TXP each time, in some cases fudging it to get it to display how I would like and othertimes working hard and doing it the correct way :)
I have a question regarding something I have been fudging for a while, a common site I make is a portfolio site for artists. The artists post up their new work using individual articles, then on the portfolio page TXP is set to display a certain amount of the articles and their thumbnails, for this example let’s say it displays 15 with the newest first. Once they have added more than 15 articles I code in a whole new section/page called portfolio2 which has the same code except that the article list skips the first 15 and displays the next 15, I then add links to each of them using hard coded links to their specific section.
My question is whether there is a “correct way” to do this. In my head it seems like there must be a way to display the next 15 articles in a much easier way, much in the same way the “older” and “newer” tages do to navigate between individual articles.
Thanks
Mark

doesn’t article limit="15"
do the job?
