Searching file description fields?
I’ve noticed that neither the native TP search, nor the rss_live_search access the information from file name or file description. This is problematic considering I just put about 1000 files in place. I realize I can associate each file with an article, and put the description there, but I was hoping there is a solution to this dilemma.

Just a quick thought (have not tried it):
You can try using smd_query (providing you know SQL), to search in the description field of txp_file table.
