News Site www.leftrightnews.com

Powered by TXP and Ajax. I’d love to get design feedback and or any feature suggestions for the news site. The goal is to find out what more it would take for you to bookmark the site.

Re: News Site www.leftrightnews.com

i’m not partial to links opening in new windows but it’s a very good looking site.

You’d prefer them to open within the same frame? Even though 90% of them go to third party site? You would not want to retain where you started? That’s great feedback. Please clarify the above if you get a chance.

Yes, I find that the back button is much easier to use. If a user wishes to open any link in a new tab or window, they can always use the appropriate key (command on mac – not sure on windows:)

It is the nature of such sites. I can understand how site owners want to see their work remain in the browser but I’m not certain if the average visitor understands the new window function, whereas all of them understand the back button.

Fantastic looking site. Not clear what the focus is — are you categorizing news and opinion as liberal or conservative? If so, you might want to really bash people over the head with the concept so they get it right away.
