Textpattern contact form & login notifications stuck on server
I’m encountering a problem only where clients have their own internal mail servers. In this instance, they have an MX and A record added which sends their mail through to their servers IP address. This all works fine except enquiries from Textpatterns zem_contact_reborn and also user login detail notifications – all get stuck on the server. If I use the hosting cpanel’s webmail function, the missing emails are all there, having been returned with ‘no such user’ error reports.
I’m assuming the hosting server is deciding that since there are no POP3 accounts installed on the hosting server, that the account doesn’t exist??
Any idea why this is happening and how it can be resolved? This is no problem at all where email is set up on the hosting server – only where clients have their own internal mail servers and I’m up to about 4 clients with this problem so far…
