Re: tru_tags: A tagging plugin for textpattern
I just wrote a new tag to my blog page and realised that true_tags can’t sort the Swedish alphabet. In Sweden we have, as the last letters in our alphabet, å, ä and ö. Words that starts with any of them comes first in the true_tags tag listnings. Is it possible to change that?
Here is a example with true_tag tags under the article and at the right in the sidebar. http://www.magnus.burgsvik.se/Blogg/terrorism-alarmism-grundad-pa-fascism

Re: tru_tags: A tagging plugin for textpattern
I took a quick look at this to see if it was a bug, and it looks like it’s no so much a ‘bug’ as a “I haven’t implemented support for international sorting”. It looks like it can be done in a standard way, but won’t be easy. I’m going to have to put it on the roadmap for a future release. For now, I’ll just keep track of the email until I next work on the plugin, then I’ll update the roadmap page accordingly.

Re: tru_tags: A tagging plugin for textpattern
Hi again Nathan.
One thing I forget to mention was that the tags in the clickable list of tags on the “Write” page is sorted correct. Some international support is implemented. :-)

Re: tru_tags: A tagging plugin for textpattern
Hi, there is a way to use tags with future events published? I’m using smd_calendar plugin to handle events. So I always post future events (articles), but the tags doesn’t work with them…
Any solutions?
Thanks in advance. :D

Re: tru_tags: A tagging plugin for textpattern
That’s my knowledge at the moment. Nathan?
tru_tags_handler doesn’t show articles that are hidden or future-dated, so are all your articles visible on the normal site? Are all your article sections marked “searchable” in the admin? What happens if you search for words that are in the tagged articles?

Re: tru_tags: A tagging plugin for textpattern
I need to look at the code to be sure, but I’m pretty sure it does intentionally filter our future-dated articles. I’m pretty sure that TXP originally hid future-dated articles, so I just mimicked that behavior. I’ll look into as soon as I have a chance. It will probably require a code fix.

Re: tru_tags: A tagging plugin for textpattern
Ok, a few updates.
First: tru_tags v3.4, which fixes MagnusBerg’s problem with sorting the Swedish alphabet. I haven’t tried it, though – please let me know if it works!
Second, I’ve put the tru_tags source code, and raw HTML of the usage instructions, on google code, so just in case my site ever goes down again, they’ll still be available without having to revert to the forums. I’ve also put links to these things on the tru_tags Extensions tab on the admin side.
And lastly, robhert – I think there’s a very easy solution to your ‘future’ problem, and it should have been obvious from the start that it doesn’t require a code change. tru_tags_handler
and tru_tags_cloud
both support the standard tags that txp:article
supports – including “time”. So just set time="any"
and that should do the trick. (Please let me know if not!)

Re: tru_tags: A tagging plugin for textpattern
Hi Nathan. Thanks for your answer. In fact, with the tag <txp:tru_tags_cloud time="any" />
I CAN see the tags cloud BUT I can not go to them. I mean, I can’t go to the section tag in future articles. I just see an 404 error page. But I can see the section tag of the others ‘past’ and ‘current’ articles… and future :D
I have added the same in the tag page section: <txp:tru_tags_handler time="any" />
Thanks in advance! Thank you very much!
PS. Do you know how can I make the search form to search into future articles? So I can use the search to find future articles :D
