Help Upgrading
A while back I developed a client site using textpattern. I was looking to upgrade from textpattern 4.04 to 4.08 I have one major problem though!
I being the clever devil I am decided to change the textpattern directory to admin. In so doing I had to edit system files. But I can’t for the life of me remember what I changed. So my question is what do I need to do to update text pattern AND change the directory form admin back to textpattern.
Keep in mind I need to do this with as little down time as possible. Thank you so much in advance!!!!

Re: Help Upgrading
Did you use this method? If so, try and change everything back to ‘textpattern’, check if the site still works ;) and upgrade.

Re: Help Upgrading
That seems to be what I used. Hopefully I can revert it back without breaking anything. Thanks for the link!

Re: Help Upgrading
Ok I edited all the files and updated with the new updated TXP source. When I did that the home page stopped loading new articles. All of the archives and other pages were in tact but the home page lost all of its content. I have since reverted to the old files. Any idea what may be going on?
EDIT:
Ok the quickest solution was to copy my config.php file to the fresh textpattern download. Delete the setup folder and upload index.php, textpattern folder and rpc.
THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR HELP! _
