Can I get an RSS feed of only articles by a particular author?
I’ve successfully used /rss/?area=link to get feeds of links, in combination with the category and section query strings, but I cannot find any information on additional query strings to allow me to modify the contents of a feed to only show articles by a particular author. I’ve tried many combinations of ?author= and ?a= using the username, user_id, and user’s full name. Are there any ways to modify the feed contents natively like this, or does it require a plugin? (I’ve done this successfully while viewing the site by adding ?author= onto a site URL, so I know it works in some contexts…)
Also, can someone tell me why all these options aren’t documented officially?

There is no “author” parameter in feeds. I think you need a plugin.
The available options are accesible from the tag builder (in the Pages tab).
