jmd_html - XHTML to HTML plugin
This plugin converts XHTML self-closing, “/>,” tags to HTML ones (“>”). It’s a barebones plugin, so it doesn’t ouput a DTD for you. All you have to do is activate it!

Does the job. Correctly. (In my first tests).

0.2 accounts for <element/>

Re: jmd_html - XHTML to HTML plugin
I’m running this with TextPattern 4.0.8 and it doesn’t seem to be changing anything.
The plugin is definitely installed and activated. I tried changing the order to 1 but that had no effect. The only other plugins I have installed are gbp_admin_library and gbp_permanent_links.
What’s the best way to verify that the plugin is actually getting run when a page is generated?
Thanks.

Sam – give 0.4 a shot. (I just realized I forgot to update the post for 0.3 last July!). The best way to verify the conversion would be to create a blank TXP page and insert a bunch of XML/XHTML closings, like <foo/> <bar /> <baz />
and check the source to see if they’re converted.

Found a bug, that gave me a real headache.
If you download a file through txp:file_download, the streamed file gets also filtered by the plugin, hence to this it removes slashes ending up in a corrupt file.
