site path when transferring site from localhost to hosted (live)
Hi guys, just transferring a site onto my mediatemple host. I know if your doing a fresh install TXP finds the site path automatically but as I’v done a SQL dump from MAMP I’m not sure what the path is likely to be,
Just going through my FTP: /domains/mydomain.com/html/ this should be it, right?? Not done a transfer before so prob a stupid question /
Thanks

It depends on your how your host is set up. Create a phpinfo file in your favourite text editor, upload it and call it in your browser. Your web root, along with lots of other (useful) information will be displayed.
